I love Marilyn Monroe, still. I think that she
was one of the most underestimated Actress's in
Hollywood. I was sad to see that most of the
Media as well as studio heads couldn't see past
her loveliness. That sort of nonsense would have
been short lived in the new Millennium, now that sexual
harassment has finally come to mean serious
business.
I was absolutely floored when Elton John
dedicated his "Good-bye Norma Jean" to Princess
Diana. Surly he could have written a new song
for her memorial. Seems kind of shallow on his
part. However,
I am adding a portion of the original "Candle in
the Wind" for your pleasure. It takes a bit to
