Here I am with my Mom, whom I visited in October. She looks good for 67!
Samson is a Rottweiler with German parents. His mother was brought to America by boat. She was purchased from the Kasteninbaum kennels in Rottweil, Germany.I raised her from a pup and breed her to Rottweiler of the year in Pet World Magazine. In 1993 she gave birth to pups, there were ten in the litter. Their tails and duclaws were done right after birth to avoid any unnecessary discomfort from the procedures. The puppies were all sold, primarily to the Cathedral City Police Department in Southern California. Samson was also a police dog and was later retired after officer and companion to him, retired. Unfortunately this gentlemen also experienced divorce and was unable to keep Samson any longer. One of the responsibilities of raising such an intelligent dog is to assure their safety. In doing so I asked that anyone purchasing a dog be certain to return the dogs to me if unable to keep them for any unseen possible reason. In that light, I was able to have Samson again. He has become a very prized companion of our home.
